HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD?

Once you’ve logged in to the platform, locate your name on the top toolbar and then select My Profile from the drop-down arrow. Then, click the Change Password button.Enter your Current Password, New Password, and Confirm Password, and then select Submit.

 

HOW DO I RETRIEVE A FORGOTTEN PASSWORD?

To retrieve a lost password, go to https://worldsciencescholars.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword and click on “Forgot Password.” You will be prompted to enter the email address that you registered with, and you will then be sent a link to reset your password.

 

TECHNICAL ISSUES

I’M HAVING PROBLEMS WITH THE SITE. WHAT SHOULD I DO?

First, make sure you’re using the latest version of one of the major browsers supporting the digital platform. World Science Scholars supports Chrome (preferred), Firefox, or Safari. If you are, try logging out of your World Science Scholars account and clearing your browser’s cookies and cache before logging back in. If that doesn’t work, send an email to scholars@worldsciencefestival.com.

 

IS ANY SPECIAL SOFTWARE REQUIRED?

We utilize some widgets that may require additional features, such as LaTeX for math equations. Note that mobile devices, including iPad, are currently not supported by the Wolfram CDF player, so Demonstrations must be viewed from desktop or laptop computers.

 

CAN I ACCESS THE PLATFORM USING A MOBILE DEVICE?

The platform has been optimized for mobile and tablets. A strong internet connection is highly recommended for the best experience viewing videos or participating in live sessions.
